A glucose tolerance test (GTT) conducted by the Internal Medicine Department of Istanbul University’s Çapa Medical Faculty on 18 healthy volunteers confirmed its suitability as a diabetic food. This was documented on May 25, 1999.
The Turkish Diabetes Association’s traditional Diabetes Summer Camp, held at Kuşadası Kuştur Holiday Village from June 13-27, 1999, further validated our product. The camp provided the baklava to various types of diabetics, and no adverse effects were observed.
Safe and Certified
Our Pistachio Diabetic Baklava, also known as Diabak, received a food manufacturing certificate (No. 34-00053-00001-9) on July 19, 1999. It is designed for special dietary purposes, including weight loss diets (obesity treatment), diabetic diets, and cardiology diets.
Ingredients and Nutritional Benefits
Natural Sweeteners and Low-Sodium Mineral Salt: Instead of regular sugar, we use stevia, enriched with prebiotic fibers. We also incorporate low-sodium mineral salt, enriched with magnesium, which contains 43% less sodium than regular salt.
High-Fiber Ingredients: Our baklava is made with high-fiber, low glycemic index wheat flour, olive oil, whole wheat flour, wheat starch, eggs, inulin, inulin-oligofructose, and water. Each ingredient is carefully selected to ensure a nutritious and satisfying treat.
Additional Nutritional Components: The baklava also contains omega-3 fatty acids and is free from glucose syrup.
